In 2020 I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons by Meritorious Contributions to Clinical Practice, in part due to my interests in feline pathology, but also due to my desire to engage with clinicians in general practice and fellow specialists in other disciplines on the subject of diagnostic pathology. I regularly publish articles aimed at improving people’s understanding of pathology, and have developed training material for visiting clinical residents, veterinary graduates interested in pathology as a career, and veterinary undergraduates. I am active in producing literature for our company for clients, and regularly participate in international conferences, publish papers and articles for general practitioners, all of which give me personal visibility within the veterinary community, reflected in my becoming an FRCVS.
